Research expertise:
Stress studies, animal operations (in abdominal cavity and stereotaxic brain operations), in vivo microdialysis, behavior tests for studying the development of anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, Alzheimer's disorder -like sympoms etc. in rats and mice, optogenetics, pharmacogenetics, immunohistochemistry, in situ hibridization, PCR.

1990-1994 Student fellow at the Institute of Medical Chemistry, Medical University of Debrecen, teaching and experimental work (Comparison of different regulation of the protein phosphatases and kinases in the liver of rats and guinea pigs.)
1991-1993 Student fellow at the Physiological Department of the Medical Univesity, Debrecen (Measuring the effect of verapamil on the sodium current in single fibers from frog muscles).
1994-1997 PhD student at the Institute of Experimental Medicine, Budapest (The role of the excitatory amino acids in the regulation of the neuroendocrine system.)
